PseudoSavant

The Musings of Paul Ellis

  • About me
  • About me

I’m a ‘product’ guy who loves software, a devoted father and husband, and an enthusiastic Lakers fan.

    Pseudonym

pseudo: not actually but having the appearance of; pretended; false or spurious; sham.
savant: a person of profound or extensive learning; learned scholar.

    Background

I have been into technology for a really long time. I used to ride my bike to RadioShack when I was a kid and I built my first computer (an 8088 with DOS 3.0) when I was about ten years old. I’m into all things tech (mobile, gaming, codecs, SaaS, etc) but my biggest passion is the web.

My day job since 2008 has been as a agile product manager. I made the switch to product management after getting an MBA in marketing and finance from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University. Before that I spent quite a few years working in IT; particularly in dental integration.
