In the software development world there are two main camps for the process of how software should be built: waterfall and agile (usually a form of Scrum). Microsoft Wants Media Center To Fail…I Swear
You may have noticed that I regularly tout Media Center as one of my favorite features of Windows Vista. I have even been using/loving it as my sole DVR for about three months now. It should come as no surprise then that I have been following the next iteration codenamed Fiji quite closely. The Value Of Open Platforms (aka Why I Don’t Own An iPhone)
I have recently been in the market for a new smartphone. The iPhone looks like some nice hardware and I’m already an AT&T customer, but after seeing news like this I’m just not buying. Apple has proven to me that I don’t want to live in a closed ecosystem.
